Drake's 'Scorpion' First-Week Sales Projections
It’s a lot of units being moved.

More good news for Drake. His latest album, Scorpion, which dropped on Friday, is projected to land at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 and move 870-920k equivalent album units, with 275-300k coming from pure album sales. Drake’s last album, More Life, which was released in 2017, sold 505,000 album-equivalent units, with 226,000 being pure sales.
Scorpion has already broken a number of records since its release. The new LP holds the record for the album with the most single-day streams for both Spotify and Apple Music. After the release, Spotify announced Scorpion averaged 10 million streams per hour.
