Barry McGee’s Celebrated Artworks on Display at Santa Barbara

Paintings, drawings, and sculptures of his iconic motifs.

Acclaimed visual artist Barry McGee recently launched an exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara entitled “SB Mid Summer Intensive.” The extensive showcase spotlights a diverse mix of artworks from the San Francisco-based creative such as paintings, drawings, and sculptures. Highlights include a collection of found objects, tagged signs, and ceramic pots painted with his signature baggy-eyed characters.
