Virgil Abloh Films His Latest Trip to the Louis Vuitton Studio

Virgil Abloh returned to Louis Vuitton‘s atelier recently, following past visits where he showcased his first day and a bespoke design for the Met Gala. In a short video uploaded to his Instagram, the designer allows a few quick looks at potential designs ranging from duffel bags accented with chains and monograms to a handwritten layout for what appears to be a business card.

Thanks to Louis Vuitton’s Instagram Story, we also get a closer look at a T-shirt design in progress, as Abloh lays a transparency of the LV Logo over a blank tee, lightheartedly suggesting that the team “print … the wrinkles.” The date of Abloh’s first runway presentation is superimposed over the footage, as you can see below.
