Gosha Rubchinskiy Teases New adidas Soccer Collaboration
Commemorating Russia hosting the 2018 World Cup.
Though the Russian designer has mostly been quiet since announcing the end of his label, Gosha Rubchinskiy has reunited with adidas for a surprise soccer collaboration. Just in time for the 2018 World Cup, Rubchinskiy unveils an array of co-branded jerseys and sweaters, with shorts, socks, boots and even a soccer ball all granted thematically-appropriate detailing. Unlike past releases, this drop offers blue text and matching accents around the collar and sleeve hems. The shorts and socks focus on simple bi-color colorways, while the shoes offer laceless styling, unlike the designer’s most recent revised adidas release.
Expect the collaboration to hit Dover Street Market on June 14.
Elsewhere, adidas readies the World Cup X 18+ TR in time for the tournament.
