Hinting a possible SS19 collaboration.

Lead footwear designer for Louis Vuitton, Mathias Patillon, may have leaked possible Takashi Murakami collaborative items from the label’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection by Virgil Abloh. A video posted recently on Instagram by Patillon shows the Japanese artist drawing his DOB PANDA character on an LV luggage during a visit to the label’s Paris headquarters. Not to mention a multicolored duffle bag embellished with similar artwork is also observed in the backdrop.
Details regarding this artist-collab are still pending. Nevertheless, stay tuned for updates and look out for the label’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection to officially debut on June 21 at Paris Fashion Week. In related news, Virgil Abloh and Takashi Murakami will soon launch their “TECHNICOLOR 2” exhibition at Gagosian’s Paris location this June 22.
