Takashi Murakami Flaunts Nike Air Force 1 Custom by Studio Hagel
Topped with Off-White™ laces.
Studio Hagel created a custom pair of Nike Air Force 1s for Takashi Murakami. Utilizing an all-white model as the canvas, the Amsterdam-based design imprint embellished the upper portions with the Japanese artist’s multi-colored Flowers motif on what appears to be leather overlays. Zigzag stitching details are also observed beneath the Swoosh logos in a neon yellow tone. Lastly, the bespoke sneaker is finished off with Off-White™ shoelaces alongside adjustable pull tabs at the heel caps that are tightened with yellow lace locks to match.
Murakami was spotted wearing the custom AF1s before the Off-White™ Spring/Summer 2019 show at Paris Fashion Week Men’s. Check out the custom AF1s above and let us know your thoughts. This past May, Studio Hagel crafted a unique pair of adidas Futurecraft 4Ds for Daniel Arsham.
