EFFECTOR Unveils SS18 Eyewear Collaborations With NIGO, Lewis Leathers & More
Handcrafted in Japan.

Since being founded in 2005, EFFECTOR has become known for its high-profile eyewear collaborations with Tokyo’s biggest fashion figures and labels.
Returning for Spring/Summer 2018, the Japanse eyewear brand drew from its long lineup of collaboratives to lead its latest seasonal range of opticals and sunglasses. Streetwear legend and HUMAN MADE head NIGO stood out on the list of team-ups, putting together the “Holly” sunglasses which sports a distinct oversized up-angled look. Opting for a subdued yet accented style, jewelry maker GIGOR put together a thick frame, complete with handcrafted silver skulls embedded in the temples. Tokyo fashion label .efiLevol turned to Beat author Jack Kerouac for inspiration in the crafting of a versatile mid-century frame that is characterized by defined edges. While English leather jacket experts Lewis Leathers built on its heritage styling with a timeless vintage wayfarer frame made slightly oversized with thick acetate and custom metal temple details.
Continuing its focus on quality, every frame in EFFECTOR’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection is handcrafted in Sabae, Fukui — the hub of Japan’s high-quality eyewear production. Priced between $430 and $675 CAD (approximately $323 and $506 USD), EFFECTOR’s Spring/Summer 2018 eyewear collection and accompanying collaborations are available now at select retailers like HAVEN.
In case you missed it, UNDERCOVER recently unveiled its latest all-embracing Spring/Summer 2019 collection.
