Shoe Palace Enlists Reebok and Hasbro on a 'G.I. Joe'-Themed Classic Canvas
Keeping its 25th anniversary celebrations rolling.
To help celebrate its momentous 25th year in the game, Shoe Palace has called upon Reebok and Hasbro to co-create a special sneaker. Sure to transport countless people in the world back to their carefree childhood years, the trio has devised a G.I. Joe-themed rendition of Reebok’s famed Classic Canvas silhouette. The highly-trained fictional task force has kept us entertained through cartoons, movies, comics and toys for almost six decades now, making them a prime choice to showcase well-respected longevity.
An aggressive camo print swarms the entire upper — an obvious nod to G.I. Joe’s military background — with both Reebok and G.I. Joe branding on alternating tongues and bright orange laces to liven up the muted palette. Sitting below, we see a clean black midsole and a gum-hued outsole, which stylishly rounds out the commemorative drop. The Reebok Classic Canvas is set to hit all Shoe Palace locations and its online shop starting June 30.
