Fresh off the April release of the short horror film for “Framed,” Eminem reconnects with his close friend, collaborator and fellow Detroit rapper Royce da 5’9” and King Green for “Caterpillar.”

Released in support of the forthcoming Royce da 5’9” album Book of Ryan, “Caterpillar” is being released as a single and video. The record also stands as the first time Eminem contributed some bars to a solo project from Royce. A “Caterpillar” remix with Logic will also be released as a bonus track on Book of Ryan.

“I just want the fans to hear my evolution as an artist as well as me as a man and learn from my mistakes,” Royce shares via press statement, breaking down his forthcoming album and his mission with it. “I think they got a little bit of that with Layers, but Book of Ryan is me letting it all out.”

You can check out Eminem, Royce da 5’9” and King Green’s “Caterpillar” via the James Larese-directed video above. Book of Ryan is scheduled to drop on Friday, May 4. Last month, Royce da 5’9” reconnected with DJ Premier for the PRhyme 2 album.
