Coach Taps Disney for “A Dark Fairy Tale” Capsule Range
‘Snow White’ and ‘Sleeping Beauty’ reinvented for Pre-Fall 2018.
American fashion house Coach joins cartoon heavyweight Disney for a graphic-heavy Pre-Fall 2018 release. Sourcing influence from two classic Disney films — Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs and Sleeping Beauty — the capsule range centers around staple items, upgrading the versatile goods with bold Disney imagery.
Cartoon eyes, the infamous poisoned apple and referential text cover the goods, with each item offering a wide range of unmissable detailing. Everything from leather moto jackets to dresses features bright colors, prints and patterns, with Coach’s own “C” logo appearing alongside the playful Disney accents. Accompanying the hoodies, tees, jackets and scarves are a host of bags and stickers, all bearing complementary imagery and eye-popping glitter. The decals are rendered 3D, ensuring they stand out as much as possible.
Look for the Pre-Fall 2018 range to hit Coach’s website and stores on May 14. Recently, Disney joined forces with Opening Ceremony for a cartoon-heavy Spring 2018 collection.
