SNK Unveils the Neo Geo Mini
The latest games company to hop on the miniature retro train.
SNK has officially announced the Neo Geo Mini, becoming the latest gaming company to release a small version of a classic console. The mini is based on the MVS arcade machine and there will be 2 versions — a Japanese edition for the Asian region and an international one for North America, Europe and every other region.
The console comes with a 3.5-inch LCD screen, HDMI port, headphone jacks and 2 external controller ports. It will come pre-loaded with forty games, and although there’s not a full list, the image above shows that King of Fighters 97, Metal Slug and Samurai Showdown II will be among the title included. As of yet, there’s no information on a firm release date or pricing, but we will update with further information when we receive it.
