CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC Offers Clashing Patterns & Printed Knits for Pre-Fall 2018
Chief creative officer Raf Simons keeps things bold.
Raf Simons‘s tenure at CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC has yielded a bevy of bold releases, even extended to the brand’s accessories, which include $400 USD rubber gloves and steampunk eyewear. For the label’s Pre-Fall 2018 range, it stays the course with more outré styling and continues its collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation.
The label’s recognizable oversized tailoring returns, with more patterned suiting complemented by mod-like turtlenecks and heeled boots, while the womenswear strips down to frilly slips bolstered by menswear separates. Key pieces include a red puffer jacket and various goods emblazoned with Warhol-sourced black and white prints. Elsewhere, 205W39NYC’s signature knit pieces are reimagined with more Cowichan-inspired intarsia detailing, elevated with enormous, CALVIN KLEIN branding. A substantial blanket accompanies a pair of sweaters. Rounding out the range are striking accessories, like metallic shoulder bags and retro striped leggings.
Expect the goods to hit CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC’s web store later this year.
Recently, the brand debuted an eye-catching bright blue colorway of its Ridge Runner sneaker.
