adidas Expands “Winning Collection” to Include NEIGHBORHOOD & White Mountaineering
More World Cup-themed pieces.
After launching an all-red capsule with BAPE, adidas has expanded its new “Winning Collection” to include joint releases with NEIGHBORHOOD and White Mountaineering. The World Cup-themed collection includes soccer jerseys, track jackets and the adidas Originals Samba silhouette, a sneaker strongly associated with football.
NEIGHBORHOOD’s capsule features a black soccer jersey with neon branding and a graphic 3-stripe interpretation. This color palette also used on the track jacket and a take on the classic Samba, which also features stand-out cobranding around the heel.
The pieces from White Mountaineering come in a more muted grey color palette, with many of the same motifs as the NEIGHBORHOOD capsule. For its Samba collaboration, the brand has wrapped it in a premium suede and tonal grey upper with subtle detailing and a full-length white midsole. The full collection will be available at a special pop-up at Isetan Shinjuku from May 14 until May 29, before going to NEIGHBORHOOD and White Mountaineering stores on May 30.
