BAPE & adidas's Latest Team-Up Is for the Football Fans
As the 2018 FIFA World Cup approaches.
To celebrate the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup, BAPE has teamed up with German giant adidas on a special football-inspired collection. Titled “adidas Winning Collection,” the capsule includes three key pieces such as a zip-up track jacket, a footy top, and a pair of suede trainers. All items are dressed in red followed by white detailing found on adidas’s Three Stripes, trefoil and BAPE’s “A Bathing Ape” motif. BAPE’s signature Ape head and the number “12” can also be found throughout which has been decorated in BAPE’s ubiquitous CAMO in light grey.
The “adidas Winning Collection” will be available via pop-up at Japan’s Isetan Shinjuku store from Monday, May 14 until Tuesday, May 29. The collection will then release on Wednesday, May 30 at select BAPE retailers.
