Back in December of last year, we broke news of rumors that a Virgil Abloh x Air Jordan 1 in a “University Blue” colorway would be coming out in 2018. Now, further development on that story has come out with sneaker insider @py_rates releasing new info. According to the @py_rates IG account, a new Jordan 1 colorway from Off-White™ creative Virgil Abloh will see a May month release. The inspiration for the colorway will be the school colors of the Universtiy of North Carolina, better known to most as UNC — the college Michael Jordan played for before entering the NBA.
The image shown above features the colorways supposedly already in Nike‘s system — White/Cone/Dark Powder Blue. For clarification, the picture is only a mock-up but expect the release to possibly have a very similar look. As for pricing, it looks like the kicks will carry a $190 USD price tag. No word on which physical retailers will have them but stay tuned with us as we get more info on this exciting potential release.

@Nike x @off____white will be back in May with yet another @Jumpman23 Jordan 1, this time using the UNC pair as inspiration. The pair will feature orange stitching, we’d love to know what you think to our mock up. Let us know what you think to the new colour-way in the comments below. #NoMoreSecrets ?
