Advisory Board Crystals has teamed up with Patron of the New for an exclusive capsule themed around different conceptions of camouflage. Named “Study in Camouflage II,” the collection is a follow up to the last exclusive collection released along with Patron of the New back in September last year.

This release features a range of different prints and fabrics — including reflective vinyl, holographic and “all over reflective prints” — which look at the idea of cultural camouflage. As well as these pieces, the collection also sees cheetah, zebra and garden printed pieces. Lastly, a range of pieces come in solid khaki and black, which the label describes as a new take on camouflage as “tonal and neutral colors are the camouflage of the modern world and most social occasions.”

Other features of the collection include experimental new utility elements such as magnetic closers, clasps and belts as well as new protective fabrics and ventilation eyelets. Elsewhere, the collection is designed to include a range of features that protect you from EMF radiation from your phone and a collaboration with New Era. Take a look at the lookbook — shot by Remington and Heather at Jonas Wood’s L.A. studio — with the collection set to launch at a pop-up at Patron of the New in New York, beginning on April 30, 7 pm and running for 10 days. RSVP now for the launch party.

In other fashion news, CMMN SWDN has linked up with Ace & Tate on a sunglasses capsule.
