Union LA Introduces Second Private Label Drop of Spring/Summer 2018
Influences include Charles Mingus and vintage finds.
Following the introduction of its in-house clothing line, Union LA returns with a new selection of goods inspired by Chris Gibbs‘ favorite clothes. Like the first release, the clothes center around boxy, comfortable cuts, with utilitarian fabrics sourced from Japan and assembled in LA. Accenting the versatile range is a host of personalized details, like patches that reference Stokely Carmichaels of the Black Power movement, and Union itself. Bowling shirts, mechanics jackets, and chino bottoms further emphasize the workaday roots of the range, underlining the range’s playful side with all-over prints and washed-out colors.
Look for the drop to hit Union’s Los Angeles and Tokyo outposts along with the Union web store. The retailer recently debuted an editorial of goods from Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2018.
