Originally announced as part of Nike, Converse and Jordan Brand‘s recent “Art of a Champion” collection, official images of Kawhi Leonard‘s Air Jordan 1 Retro High have now surfaced. The sneaker is inspired by Leonard’s MVP-winning performance in the 2014 NBA Finals and come in an eye-catching metallic silver, white and black colorway.
The detailing on the sneaker includes the 16 check marks motif — representing the number of wins needed to get through the playoffs and win the Finals — on the heel and laces, as well as a gold “2014” lace tag and Leonard’s hand logo on the left shoe’s tongue, right shoe’s insole, and under the outsole. Lastly, the sneaker features “Finals” branding on the left insole, gold lace tips and gold hangtang. The Kawhi Leonard Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High is set to release on April 28 for $145 USD.
