Kanye West Responds to Open Letter From His Mother's Surgeon
“Thank you so much for this connection brother. I can’t wait to sit with you and start healing.”

After making his return to Twitter, Kanye West has been dropping a lot of questionable tweets, including a potential album cover featuring plastic surgeon Dr. Jan Adams just this past weekend. What makes this quite strange is Dr. Jan Adams was responsible for West’s late mother Donda‘s final surgery and often garners the blame for her death; West’s mother passed away from heart complications following the surgery.
In response to Kanye’s potential LP cover tweet, Adams has penned an open letter to Kanye, which was obtained by The Blast, asking Kanye to “cease and desist using my photo or any image of me to promote your album or any of your work.” He continued to praise ‘Ye for wanting to “forgive and stop hating,” and stated “with true love comes intellectual honesty.” Elsewhere in the letter, Adams expressed his willingness to meet with Kanye face-to-face.
“This is amazing,” Kanye wrote on Twitter in response to the letter. “Thank you so much for this connection brother. I can’t wait to sit with you and start healing.”
Read the letter in its entirety here. Kanye West is also set to launch a Donda social program for chicago, in honor of his late mother.
