We recently got our hands on the earlier-teased colette Air Jordan 1 gifted to the iconic concept shop. As a kind gesture from Jordan Brand towards the now-closed Parisian boutique, the Air Jordan 1 “Au Revoir” features the shop’s signature blue color and double-dot logo at the back of the heel.
Delivered completely covered in colette packing tape, the extremely-limited pair of AJ1s hit on an emotional level for those familiar with the retailer, as the full 20 years are encapsulated in the special message at the bottom of the icy soles. On the bottom of the left shoe, “Bonjour” corresponds with the year “1997” at the side of the heel, where “Au Revoir” corresponds with the year “2017” found on the right shoe — denoting the opening and closing years of colette.
