These days, there are two types of sneakers: super chunky and super slim. adidas Skateboarding adds to the latter category with its new 3ST.002 model. The streamlined sock-like silhouette debuted earlier this month in a beige and gum sole colorway and via a Fucking Awesome collaboration model. This time, the 3ST.002 appears in tonal black and white iterations.

This footwear model fuses sport and lifestyle elements by giving a classic skate silhouette with a vulcanized outsole a Primknit upper with TPU coating. The slick sock-fit features incorporated midfoot support for additional stability and flexibility, while the semi-translucent mudguard displays the model’s dual-density TORSION system.

The adidas Skateboarding 3ST.002 in all-black and all-white is available now for €160 EUR (approximately $196 USD) at Overkill. Let us know if you’re a fan of these sock-like skate shoes in the comments below. If you’re looking for something slightly heftier, the Nike LeBron Soldier 12 just debuted in “Zero Dark Thirty.”
