Initially teased last summer, we got our first look at Vetements’s Spring/Summer 2018 footwear collection, which cast a spotlight on a series of old school trainers that have been reimagined with Demna Gvasalia flair. Bearing an uncanny resemblance to Converse’s classic Chuck Taylor silhouette is this high-top runner.

The shoe features a black canvas-constructed upper, with the Vetements name plastered all throughout the base. A branded white rubber sole sits just below, with the all-familiar rubber toe cap rounding out the commemorative design. Priced at $839 USD, you can find this Vetements trainer at such retailers as MATCHESFASHION.COM.

In case you missed it earlier, Maison Margiela’s Fall/Winter 2018 runway show debuted XXL deconstructed sneakers.
