UNDERCOVER's Cream Soda Collaboration Is Dropping This Week
A joint capsule from the two cult brands.
Initially unveiled as part of the label’s Spring/Summer 2018 lookbook, UNDERCOVER‘s collaboration with cult label Cream Soda has been given a release date. This capsule saw UNDERCOVER designer Jun Takahashi look back to Cream Soda’s influential history, when the label was founded as a greaser-rockabilly boutique, brand and band. Cream Soda is seen as a key player in transforming Harajuki into a fashion hub and kickstarting a new subcultural trend in Japan.
To celebrate this legacy, the capsule sees Cream Soda’s skull and crossbones logo mixed with classic UNDERCOVER branding, as well as a leopard print pattern that appears in yellow, gray and blue on everything from jackets to shoes. Take a look through the collection, which is set to drop at MADSTORE UNDERCOVER stores and UNDERCOVER stores on March 24.
