Adding to its recent drops of tour merch for a fictitious record label, UNDERCOVER is back to premiere its comprehensive 2018 spring/summer collection. Unlike Jun Takahashi’s Fall/Winter 2017 offering, which featured an amalgamation of fabrics, this seasonal range blends a bevy of subcultures and their hallmark garb. We first get a glimpse at a punk-era collaboration with longstanding brand Cream Soda, who celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Throughout the rest collection we find influences from A Clockwork Orange, Joy Division, and even Japanese rail workers. Rounding it all out are some pieces for UNDERCOVER Records and its imaginary bands, Brain Castle and Twin Ginsberg.
