Strutting down the runway in colorful desert boots, adidas Superstars, and open-toe sandals, White Mountaineering presented its 2018 spring/summer collection at Paris Fashion Week today. If Yosuke Aizawa‘s previous range for Fall/Winter 2017 was “more inspired by rescue workers, military, and police—people who are facing serious, dangerous situations,” this seasonal offering seems to return to the serenity of the Japanese archipelago. Earthy greens and browns are paired with shades of blue and washed denim, while a small selection of faded-black clothing closed it all out, a contrast to the previous show which featured mostly tonal black tactical-wear. As always, White Mountaineering sprinkled in some sportswear, including a bright orange velour tracksuit and a wind-resistant jacket.
