Hackers Apparently Exploited adidas Confirmed for YEEZY Zebras in China, Violence Ensued
The altercation was captured on video.
While some scored a pair of the coveted adidas Originals YEEZY Boost 350 V2 “Zebra” restock on Wednesday via the Confirmed app, it seems hackers may have won the majority of the stock in China. As posted by Pinoe77 on Instagram, a video shows an altercation occurring involving a customer and a mountain of YEEZY sneakers and boxes, scattered across a mall floor. As captured, the individual is shielding himself while being barraged by angry individuals. A caption of the post is as follows:
The story goes like this. Some hackers broke adidas confirmed over in China and won 80ish pairs of Zebras. The squad wasn’t happy about that and fucked up the plugs. #greed
This is not the first time Asia in particular has seen violent behavior for adidas’s highly-sought-after sneakers; a video last year in March showed a mob of individuals racing into stores for the hyped adidas Originals NMD_R1s with no regard for safety.
