The Only Vintage White Gold Rolex Daytona Is up for Auction
Worth more than $3 million USD.
A super rare Rolex model is set to go up for auction in May this year as part of Phillips‘ “Daytona Ultimatum” charity sale. The white gold Daytona is believed to be the only watch of its kind ever made, with experts believing it was made as a special order for one of the Swiss label’s most valued clients in 1970.
Other features of the watch include a black “sigma” dial with white gold indexes and a matching bracelet, which was added to the watch by its current owner. The model is in good condition, although there is no other known version of the watch to compare it to. When it hits the “Daytona Ultimatum” auction, this watch is expected to raise somewhere in the region of 3 million CHF, approximately $3.175 million USD.
