Although around for some time — having celebrated its 45th-anniversary last year, Kendrick Lamar helped shine a spotlight on Nike’s Cortez model with both of his collaborative renditions, the Nike Cortez ”Kenny I” and “Kenny II,” respectively. With that said, the heritage runner has since surfaced in a new color scheme combining White, “Gym Blue” and Grey.
The new rework sees a return to its leather and nylon roots after having tinkered with a leather/canvas combo in the aforementioned Nike Cortez “Kenny II” model. Although price has still yet to be confirmed, the new design is believed to arrive sometime in spring. Be sure to check back for future updates.
Keeping with Nike, DeMar DeRozan hit the court sporting the all-new Nike Kobe A.D. NXT 360.
