NEEDLES Taps VELVET for Exclusive Loungewear Collaboration
Lush lamé and velvet accents elevate a trackpant and tee.
Japanese vintage store VELVET returns from a stint at NEPENTHES NY to take up residence at the brand’s domestic outposts with a series of pop-up shops. To commemorate the events, NEEDLES is serving up a pair of exclusive items — a pair of the brand’s iconic track pants and a long-sleeved shirt. “VELVET” branding appears all over the white shirt, executed in lamé, adding subtle sparkle to the otherwise understated tee. Meanwhile, a pair of NEEDLES’ straight-cut track pants are crafted from velvet, naturally, with a lamé stripe down the side of each leg and “VELVET” embroidered beneath the usual butterfly logo.
The goods will hit NEPENTHES’s Japanese stores on March 24, but keep an eye on the NEPENTHES website for more seasonal tracksuits.
