Mozzy & IAMSU Share Raw Autobiographical Single, "My Eyes"
Off Mozzy’s recently released ‘Fake Famous’ mixtape.

A notably brash emcee, Mozzy always speaks from the first person point of view, and on “My Eyes” he goes into great detail about his struggles — from overcoming several prison sentences as a teenager to withstanding challenges he’s faced rising from Sacramento’s Oak Park neighborhood before being all-in with his music career in search of betterment and self-improvement. Joined by Bay Area artist IAMSU, who harmonizes a poignant chorus that further delivers the song’s message, “My Eyes” is a stand-out single from Mozzy’s recently released Fake Famous mixtape. In addition to IAMSU’s contribution to “My Eyes,” Mozzy’s Fake Famous includes a huge collab with YG and G-Eazy on lead single “Hold On Me,” as well as guest spots from Dave East, YFN Lucci, Trae Tha Truth, and Jadakiss. Fake Famous follows a busy 2016 from Mozzy, which included the release of solo mixtapes Mandatory Check and 1 Up Top Finna Drop, as well as several collaborative efforts. Mozzy’s Fake Famous is available now on Apple Music, Spotify, SoundCloud, and other streaming platforms.
