This Rolls-Royce Ghost Is Coated in Diamond Paint
Taking bespoke to another level.
When Rolls-Royce dropped its 2017 spring/summer lookbook, there was no mention of a diamond paint option. But when one customer asked the company to bespoke a Ghost with an extended wheelbase with the hardest rocks on Earth, the British luxury automakers happily obliged. After researching the paint for over two months, the final car ready version features over 1,000 crushed diamonds and the “Elegance” was born.
Red and black hand-painted coachlines and 21-inch wheels with red pinstripes accent the rest of the exterior. Inside, black leather seats and wool carpets are contrasted with red stitching and piping on the seats and open-pore oak wood trim on the dash in the front and a lighter grey leather in the rear. Plaid upholstery lines the back of the front seats where tray tables fold out.
