Matt Gondek Deconstructs Iconic Cartoons For "Clean Break" Pop-Up

The LA-based artist will launch limited works during Hong Kong Art Basel 2018.

LA-based artist Matt Gondek is teaming up with contemporary art gallery Avenue des Arts for a special pop-up during Hong Kong Art Basel 2018. Gondek is widely-celebrated for creating large-scale murals and artworks that spotlight deconstructed versions of iconic cartoon characters from The Simpsons, Dragon Ball Z, and Disney to name a few. For the upcoming event, the duo will release limited edition vinyl figures, shaped wood prints, exclusive prints, and merchandise spanning T-shirts, sweatshirts, and sticker packs.
