Kanye West's "Champions" Reaches Platinum Status

Kanye West‘s 2016 “Champions” single has now reached platinum status. The track produced by Yeezy, A-Trak, Lex Luger and Mike Dean included a long list of cameos. The heavily collaborated song featured Gucci Mane, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, Yo Gotti, Quavo and Desiigner. “Champions” was released as the lead single from the G.O.O.D Music compilation album Cruel Winter. Following the album release, Kanye was admitted for a mental breakdown making fans question if there is a difference between genius and insanity. Regardless, 2018 buzz suggests Yeezy is back on his grind. Leaks of new music have surfaced online — “Southside Serenade” and two tracks with Kendrick Lamar. Moreover, ‘Ye has been spotted in his Wyoming creative den along with many artists he often works with.
