'Jurassic World Alive' Could Be the Next 'Pokémon GO'
The new AR title has an official trailer.
Game developer Ludia has introduced the trailer for its upcoming AR game Jurassic World Alive based on the Jurassic Park franchise. Slated to release this spring, the game allows players to interact and collect dinosaurs roaming around the world, similar to the popular Pokémon GO game.
The game’s map is even similar to Niantic‘s breakout AR title, which also allows players to snap photos with dinosaurs, level them up, and even battle them, a feature most GO fans wanted. “Players discover dinosaurs by locating them on a map and deploying an in-game drone to collect DNA samples,” developer Ludia explains. The game is set to release this spring, around the same time of the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom on June 22. Pre-register for the game and check out the trailer above.
