Havoc Says a New Mobb Deep Album Is Coming This Year
“Pretty soon, before the end of the year.”
Last year, Prodigy of Mobb Deep passed away while being treated for his well-documented battle with sickle cell. Although a few tracks have leaked in his wake, most weren’t expecting another full-fledged project from the duo. However, surviving member Havoc has stated a full album will, in fact, be released later this year.
During an appearance on MSNBC’s The Beat With Ari Melber with New Jersey senator Robert Torricelli, the rapper stated he’s working “in conjunction with [Prodigy’s] family” on the new record and it’ll release “pretty soon, before the end of the year.” Check out the clip below and share your thoughts.
