Virgil Abloh x Nike Air Max 90's Second Coming Could Have Greyscale Coloring
Virgil transitions to the dark side.
Virgil Abloh and Nike continue to leave fans in fervent anticipation for more sneaker releases this year after the success of “THE TEN” in 2017. Recently, reports of an Abloh x Nike Air Max 90 in black have surfaced leading us to believe that this could be the second coming of the famed footwear. However, as teased by IG sneaker insider account @pinoe77, a more greyscale colorway could be the next drop. Whether this iteration will replace or be released at the same time as the black model still remains a mystery but a picture of a dyed pair (as seen in @pinoe77’s account) is currently said to be the closest representation of what we could see in October of this year.
Furthermore, sources have also explained that a style code for this colorway has already been entered into Nike’s system along with a $160 USD price tag. Again, no word yet on a specific release but this color-blocked iteration should look similar to the Virgil Abloh x Nike Blazer Studio Mid that also bears the same colorway.
