60-Year-Old Macallan Whiskey Bottles Up For Auction at Bonhams
Expected to reach over $500,000 USD.

A recent listing by esteemed Hong Kong auction house Bonhams spotlights two rare bottles of Macallan Whiskey. The 60-year-old bottles are one of 24 ever made featuring labels by artists Peter Blake and Valerio Adami. They were last auctioned in the 1980s, and both are housed in “tantalus” cabinets made specifically by traditional distillery safes.
For true purists only, the bottles are expected to reach $500,000 USD. Expect bidding to start sometime in May. In case you missed it, this Yamakazi Whiskey shattered expectations at Sotheby’s auction.
