Hip-hop has become a huge part of NPR’s Tiny Desk Series, following outstanding performances from Tyler, The Creator and Common just a few weeks ago. Today, the latest rapper to stop by NPR’s offices is none other than Mississippi’s own Big K.R.I.T.. He not only brought along a full live band, but also long-time collaborator and Grammy Award-winning producer, Bryan Michael Cox. Together, they performed remarkable, soulful variations of “Bury Me in Gold,” “Mixed Messages” and “Keep the Devil Off.”

Press play to watch above. All the songs performed during K.R.I.T.’s NPR visit can also be found on his newest LP, Krizzle’s 4eva Is a Mighty Long Time, released back in October of 2017.
