This Artist Celebrates Air Max Day With Innovative Nike Mashups
What if they were real?
Graphic designer Chad Manzo offers up his dream sneakers for Air Max Day 2018, updating some of his favorite Nike designs. A host of recognizable silhouettes are blended with Air Max technology to create some one-of-a-kind fusions.
Old-school staples like the Air Tailwind and Air Rift are elevated with Air outsoles from the Air Max 98 and Air VaporMax, respectively. Some look like sneakers that could possibly drop in the future, like the Air Presto x Air Max 93 mashup, while others are merely the stuff of dreams, like the Virgil Abloh x Air Jordan 1 x Air Max 270.
