Audi Teases Four-Door E-Tron GT and Confirms 2020 Arrival

Audi will launch a four-door electric vehicle model in 2020 called the E-Tron GT, which will spearhead a new electric-centric line-up of over 20 models by 2025. “We interpret sportiness very progressively with our fully electric E-Tron GT, and this is how we will take our high-performance brand Audi Sport into the future,” said Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi.
Production will begin in Neckarsulm in early 2020, with additional plans for an electric SUV recently previewed at the Geneva Motor Show. It’ll be compatible with 150kW half hour fast chargers and will be produced in Brussels. Audi’s upcoming E-Tron GT is rumored to rival models like the Tesla Model S. In related news, Tesla is raising the rates of its supercharger stations.
