Quirky Swedish imprint Acne Studios has just released the Spring/Summer 2018 lookbook for its relaunched denim line, Acne Studios Blå Konst.

Now in its third season, the line drew inspiration from the works of Mexico City-bred, Brussels-based sculptor Gabriel Kuri, whose penchant for common objects such as chewing gum and receipts was translated across a series of hoodies, T-shirts, denim jackets, button-ups and shorts.

Here’s what Acne Studios’ Creative Director, Jonny Johansson, said about the collaboration:

“I love how Gabriel Kuri looks at the world. He brings together objects and materials to tell his own story, which resonates with how we do things at Acne Studios Blå Konst. It is about examining and celebrating the everyday and the beauty of specific design.”

To celebrate the collection’s launch, Kuri has created ten works consisting of a vitrine featuring items from Acne Studios Blå Konst alongside everyday objects, which will be displayed in select Acne Studios stores globally.
