Acne Studios Reveals Full Spring/Summer 2018 Sneaker Line-Up
New versions of classic silhouettes.
After opening the doors to its new West Hollywood location last week, Swedish label Acne Studios has revealed its full line-up of sneakers for Spring/Summer 2018. The new collection features a range of classic silhouettes from the brand, which have been reworked with new colorways and subtle adjustments.
Sneakers in this pack include chunky styles such as the Rockaway, Sofiane and Manhattan, which come in monochrome colorways, while the Manhattan also comes in a new all-over denim version. Elsewhere, the Tristan and Batilda sock sneakers feature new “Workwear Blue” and lilac/white colorways, and the vintage-inspired Jimmy and Joriko silhouettes are wrapped in a range of new prints including a new floral pattern. Lastly, the velcro-strapped Steffey and Perey sneakers are also given updates with new colors including “Bright Orange” and “Dusty Pink.”
To launch the collection, Acne Studios has released campaign video starring Tage Johansson, the son of Acne Studios Creative Director Jonny Johansson. The short film sees the younger Johansson use elements of all of the new designs to create new hybrid sneakers, which he believes are “better than dad’s originals.” Watch the clip below, and head over to the Acne Studios web store to get your hands on the sneakers.
