Acne Studios Introduces the Jimmy & Joriko Sneaker for Its 2017 Fall/Winter Collection

Accompanying its recently announced range of footwear and accessories for the 2017 fall/winter season, Swedish favorite Acne Studios churns out two new men’s and women’s sneaker silhouettes, the Jimmy and Joriko respectively. Keeping with the label’s penchant for quirky minimalist touchstones and bold colorways, the sneakers draw inspiration from vintage running shoes, complete with exaggerated plastic spoilers and clunky soles designed to mimic the look of a computer keyboard.
The women’s Joriko offering features pale pink/red and navy/frosted colorways, while the men’s Jimmy style comes in an off-white/turquoise colorway. Additional iterations include a beige/smoked men’s Jimmy and an off-white/turquoise women’s Joriko, all of which will drop August 3 both in-store and on Acne Studios’s web shop.
