colette, who recently announced its closure, is still going strong for now — case in point, this new selection of jewelry that Kanye West made in collaboration with Jacob & Co. The first time news came out about the collection, it was said that inspiration came from 14th-century Florentine art and this shows itself in the form of updated takes of religious iconography on the necklaces, while the collection also features a ring emblazoned with “This is a God Dream,” in reference to his lyrics from “Ultralight Beam.” Designed in conjunction with YEEZY Season 4, there’s no corners cut in terms of production — something which is reflected in the price. Pieces in the collection start from €2,100 EUR ($2,490 USD) and go up to around €14,300 ($16,593 USD) for a “Madonna and Child” necklace. These are all available to purchase from colette’s web store.
Speaking of Kanye West, the price tag on this collection might seem high but it’s nothing compared to the size of the lawsuit Ye has reportedly filed over his canceled ‘Saint Pablo’ tour.
