Take a Look at Acne Studios' 2017 Fall/Winter Accessories
Inspired by big-suited businessmen of the 1980s.
Acne Studios has returned with its quirky, minimalist take on accessories for the Fall/Winter 2017 season. Inspired by the boxy aesthetic of ’80s-era classic businessmen combined with the “New Look” of haute couture in the 1940s, the collection’s accessories mix swollen elements with sorbet colors. Present are several novel footwear silhouettes — the Sami high-top, the Sofiane runner in black and mint green, the Jimmy boot in turquoise, and the triple black Lars court sneaker — which feature platform soles and amplified features that riff off the collection’s voluminous tailoring. Meanwhile, the tote bags use images recycled from classic issues of Acne Paper.
