Acne Studios has returned with its quirky, minimalist take on accessories for the Fall/Winter 2017 season. Inspired by the boxy aesthetic of ’80s-era classic businessmen combined with the “New Look” of haute couture in the 1940s, the collection’s accessories mix swollen elements with sorbet colors. Present are several novel footwear silhouettes — the Sami high-top, the Sofiane runner in black and mint green, the Jimmy boot in turquoise, and the triple black Lars court sneaker — which feature platform soles and amplified features that riff off the collection’s voluminous tailoring. Meanwhile, the tote bags use images recycled from classic issues of Acne Paper. Look for these pieces to become available at Acne Studios outlets in the coming months, and check out the rest of the Fall/Winter 2017 collection here.
