Brioni Appoints Nina-Maria Nitsche as Its New Creative Director
Following Justin O’Shea’s brief tenure.

As we reported last fall, designer Justin O’Shea parted ways with high-end fashion house Brioni after only six months of time with the Italian brand. With a frenzy of fashion weeks upon us, Brioni has now named Nina-Maria Nitsche as the company’s creative director. ”Ever since meeting her in 1996, I have been impressed by her creative approach,” says Fabrizio Malverdi, Brioni’s new chief executive. “Her point of view will allow the brand’s core values to prosper and yet inject a contemporary dialogue that will enable Brioni to evolve into the future.” In the past, Nina-Maria Nitsche has worked with Maison Martin Margiela, Vetements and other high-profile luxury outfits.
