Diesel Announces Shayne Oliver Collaboration
Introducing the Red Tag Project.

Fresh off the high-profile unveiling of Diesel’s limited-edition knock-off collection, the Renzo Rosso-helmed brand has revealed plans to work with popular New York designer Shayne Oliver for its next major endeavor.
Succeeding his single-season joint effort with Helmut Lang, Shayne Oliver is set to become the first third-party designer to work with Diesel for the longtime label’s new Red Tag Project. A three-installment collection series with outside collaborators, the Red Tag Project will give fans unique capsules influenced by Diesel’s storied “denim and sportswear” history.
“I love denim’s heritage and its American roots, as well as Diesel’s Italian core,” Oliver shares via press statement. “This capsule is really the language of Renzo, the brand founder. Refined razor-sharp denim aesthetics that devours the excesses of trendiness.”
“This is a vibrant moment for Diesel: We are working on a series of global initiatives, one of which is this [project] with the most groundbreaking and radical international designers, like Shayne,” adds Rosso. “The new generations are excited and engaged by beautiful products that have a soul and speak the language of today.”
You can expect Diesel and Shayne Oliver’s Red Tag Project to debut during a Saturday, March 3 Paris Fashion Week event.
