Diesel Black Gold Boasts Directional Cuts in Pre-Spring 2018 Lookbook
Heavy layers leading into the warmer weather.
Creative director Andreas Melbostad emphasizes substantial layers in Diesel Black Gold‘s Pre-Spring 2018 lookbook. The label’s laid-back looks come complemented by knit, leather and wind-resistant layers.
Emphasizing the denim that the brand was built on, Diesel Black Gold’s new collection centers around heavily-layered casual staples. Button-up shirts serve as the base layers for plenty of cardigans, parkas, leather jackets, sweaters, and more, with most looks boasting at least three pieces of clothing on top. Slim jeans and pants make up the majority of the bottoms, with some wider trousers offering balance for the hefty styling and Palladium-style shoes. The color palette is as expansive as the textiles, with blue and black leather zip-up jackets styled with grey anoraks and green polyester cagoules meshing with olive and navy mixed-material cargo pants.
