Nike Offers First Look at 2018's Biggest Air Max Day Releases

Gearing up for this year’s Air Max Day, Nike recently held a special preview event in Shanghai.
The exclusive event brought together some of the Air Max line’s biggest collaborators to share their love of the lauded footwear line. Notable attendees included Nike Air Max Senior Creative Director Dylan Raasch, Sean Wotherspoon of Round Two, atmos Creative Director Hirofumi Kojima, ALCH‘s Alexandra Hackett, DOE Co-Founder Himm Woon and veteran shoe collector Horace Leung.
Additionally, Nike took the opportunity to unveil some of the most anticipated Air Max Day 2018 drops and releases scheduled for later this year. The expected atmos “Animal Pack,” Vote Forward Air Max 1/97 and Wang Junkai-designed Air Max Zero “WJK” stood out amongst the new and debuting colorways of the Air VaporMax 2.0, Air Max 270, Air Max 180, Air Max 98 and Air Max 93. But undeniably, the white and black iterations of the Virgil Abloh x Air VaporMax were the shoe’s that drew the most attention at the event.
