Travis Scott Receives the Key to Missouri City, Texas
2018 is really shaping up to be La Flame’s year.
2018 is shaping up to be Travis Scott‘s year as good news for the rapper just keeps on coming. After welcoming his new baby girl Stormi and having his court case dismissed, La Flame was recently given the key to Missouri City, Texas.
Missouri City Mayor Allen Owen held a ceremony for Travis last week and officially declared February 10 Travis Scott Day in the district. Travis, who was born in Houston and grew up in the suburb of Missouri City, took the stage alongside Houston Rockets guard James Harden and his family for the momentous occasion.
Presented with the key, Travis gave a speech highlighting his love of the city and goal to inspire. “My only job is just to inspire kids to be the best they can be, to reach their ultimate height. Everybody has a dream and everybody can do it.” Following the speech, Travis performed his hit single, “Butterfly Effect” to a hyped crowd.
